How can I estimate my monthly cost if I plan to have multiple review subscriptions?

Two factors will drive your cost:

  • The number of unique subscriptions
  • The total number of reviews

In order to get a close estimate, you need to approximately predict:

  • The approximate number of businesses you will be serving.
  • The number of platforms you will be supporting per business. This will be mainly driven by your vertical. If your customers work in hospitality space you might be interested in networks like Expedia, Booking, etc. whereas if you support restaurants you will likely be interested in Google, Yelp, OpenTable, TripAdvisor, Facebook, and Foursquare.
  • The universal average number of reviews per page. It’s just an estimate. Our internal average across all industries and accounts is around 250 reviews per page.

A business is a location that has a name and a physical address, e.g. The Cheesecake Factory located at 7067 Friars Rd, San Diego, CA 92108

Example, if you plan to support:

  • 1,000 businesses
  • Each business has a page on each of Google, Facebook, and Yelp
  • Each page has around 250 reviews

β†’ The cost of a single subscription (with auto-renew enabled) is: 100 credits subscription fees + 1 credit x 250 reviews = 350 credits.

β†’ You will need to create: 1,000 businesses x 3 platforms = 3,000 subscriptions

β‡’ Final cost: 3,000 x 350 = 1,050,000 credits

Your monthly cost is around: 1,000 x 3 x (100 + 250) credits = $792
